Interview Practice & STAR Answer Examples
Practise common interview questions and structure your answers with Situation, Task, Action and Result. Keep notes with your career workspace.
How it works
Choose a real example for each practice question. Explain the context, your specific responsibility, the action you took and what happened. Save notes about the actual job so your interview preparation matches the CV you submitted.

Practise evidence, not a memorised script
Choose examples from your actual work, study or volunteering. For each question, note the situation, your responsibility, the action you took and the outcome. Make your own contribution clear when describing teamwork. Use anonymised examples and leave out identifying information about people you supported.
Review your next step
Practise a concise answer aloud, then consider a follow-up question about what you learned or would change. Keep notes about the employer and role nearby during preparation. After an interview, record the questions you found difficult and improve those examples for next time. A practice answer should sound like you and remain truthful.
