What if I have no UK experience?
Answer from the ResumeStation team
Experience outside the UK still matters. Explain the setting, your responsibilities and the training you completed in terms the recruiter can understand. Use your qualification’s correct title rather than giving it a UK equivalent you haven’t had confirmed.
General career information. Immigration and employment circumstances vary; use current official guidance and qualified advice for individual decisions. Never share confidential care records here.
What would you add?
Keep it kind and stick to what you know. Leave out residents’ details, private documents, contact details and allegations that identify someone. Replies reflect members’ experiences, not verified professional advice. Posts use a member alias and appear before moderation. For urgent help, use the appropriate emergency or safeguarding service.
